As
you may have learnt about us in this website, we have different activities that
require either monetary or material support for them to actually take place
effectively.
We
can take a donation in kind and in cash form either an organization or an
individual and we give our word that any little donation will be put to the
right use.
We are also willing to follow the right procedures pre and post donation i.e.
reporting, accountability, transparency etc.
Since inception of our group, most of the funding of different activities and projects has come from members themselves. Our guiding spirit is “Participation and Contribution” and so far it has worked.
But once in a while we meet friends who are interested in what we are doing and would like to help in one way or the other. So they normally go back to their communities and hold small fundraising ceremonies and they get some money for us which goes to either the activities/projects these friends choose or to just support the day to day running of the group.
If
you are out there and you are willing to raise some funds for us, we totally
appreciate and don’t hesitate to contact us soon.

Volunteers from other parts of Kenya and oversees are welcomed. Your time, energy and support are needed in this community. You don’t have to be experienced all you have to have is the willingness to help and the spirit of “turning roots into fruits”.

For
any organization to have effective activities, they always require the right
equipment at their disposal in real time. Unfortunately, our youth group is
still struggling in this department and at times it forces us to either
postpone or cancel earlier scheduled activities due to lack of the necessary equipment.
We are always looking out there for someone who would be kind enough to support
us in this department by either acquiring for us old equipment or even buying
us new ones for us to have more effective activities in the community. These
equipment could include; wheelbarrows, spades, rakes, footballs, basketballs,
tents, stationery, computers, football shoes, basketball bibs/pinnies etc.
You
can place an advert in one of the slots provided in our official website. The
rates will be provided once you make an enquiry to our web team. The proceeds
will go a long way to support our various activities in the Mathare Slums

We encourage interested people from all the corners of the world to come up with ideas that they think we can do together. We believe every single community has a way to deal with its own problems and we would like to know these methods and how we can design them to work for our community. We also encourage you to come down to our community at hopefully carry-out the ideas together.

T-shirts,
Caps, Cups, Mugs etc are some of the few products you can get from our group.
Most of these products are branded with our logo and colours all that goes with
it.
Whenever you buy any of these products, you not only support our activities but you also provide us with a bigger channel to market our ideas all around the world.
Most of the merchandise is made by group members. We encourage young members to explore their talents and they also get rewarded once their merchandise has been sold by the group. This is to somehow provide an employment indirectly to the members who are not yet working.
